The College of Agricultural Engineering, Madakasira was established on 8.11.2008, during the academic year 2008-2009, as one of the constituent  Government college of the Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.Keeping the manpower requirements in the profession of Agricultural Engineering in view, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has established the college for the benefit of farmers, agriculture sector and the industry. This was the second college of agricultural engineering established in the state of Andhra Pradesh before bifurcation of the state.
